We use the Life Teen Oneight Program (after Acts 1:8) designed to go hand-in-hand with Life Teen on Sundays. This is a dynamic and relational process! We hope to bring our teens closer to Christ through their initiation in the Church!

SPONSOR INFORMATION:
A sponsor should be someone you look to, as an encourager in your Confirmation Journey.
They should be someone 16 or older, who has already been confirmed and is living out their Catholic Faith.
If you do know them well, hopefully these opportunities will allow you to get to know them in a different, deeper way.
Your sponsor will be invited to a couple of our sessions, designed for you and your sponsor to grow together in friendship and faith. This info will be presented at the parent meeting on Thursday, September 29, 2011, from 7 to 8:30 pm.
This is by no means the extent of your relationship with your sponsor. You and your sponsor can talk and get together as much as you both want...the more you put into it, the richer the whole experience will be!!!
If you chose a sponsor who cannot be at the sessions requested because of distance, we ask you to have 2 sponsors: 1 from our parish (we will hand pick teen-friendly parishioners) or from your family who will participate with you; and the 2nd being the person chose who is far away. BOTH of these sponsors will present you to Archbishop Vlazny during the actual Confirmation Ceremony. [So, for example I choose my sister as my sponsor, but she is in college and cannot attend the Sponsor sessions, I would pick, for example, one of our Life Teen CORE members as my second sponsor who would actually be participating with me for the sessions. Both would be my sponsors at Confirmation.]
