The Ministry of Mothers Sharing - is an outreach ministry of the Benedictine Sisters of St. Paul's Monastery in St. Paul, Minnesota. MOMS is an 8 week parish based ministry using the book "MOMS: A Personal Journal" as guide. Ministry of Mothers Sharing introduces women of all ages and stages of life to opportunities of personal and spiritual growth. Each session begins and ends with a prayer ritual designed to enhance the Christian perspective on each theme. Each week new themes are presented for reading, reflection and discussion.
Themes are as follows:
Week 1: Self-Esteem and Self-Acceptance
Week 2: Stress, Worries and Anxiety
Week 3: Everyday Spirituality
Week 4: Feelings
Week 5: Personal Goal Setting
Week 6: Expressing Values in Friendship
Week 7: Discernment of Gifts
Week 8: Celebration of New Beginnings

Here are pictures from the Family Social with our Spring 2010 MOMS group! The Family Social happens about midway through the 8 week session. It is a wonderful opportunity for women to introduce their husbands and children to the other families!

Below are pictures from our Winter (JAN) 2010 MOMS group! Session 8: Celebration of New Beginnings is an opportunity to affirm new participants and thank them for the inherent gifts they bring to the group, celebrate the unity of the group and introduce members to the bigger picture of the ministry.
