Great suggestions.
We are following the RCIA outline, but we are happy to discuss any current questions or concerns about our faith and the teachings of the Church. There will be a formal theme, and next time, October 21, the theme is an "Introduction to the Bible." The format of the sessions is very informal.
Hope you can come?

On Sundays, I know Father is supposed to talk on the Gospels. Perhaps during the evening sessions this year (or next, or....) you could have some sessions on everyday issues that people may have questions about. Such things as life issues: abortion, contraception (arthficial and natural) euthanasia, assisted suicide, suicide, gay and lesbian "life styles", marriage, end if life issues, parenting, and so on. Is this possible? Can someone comment, please.

It would be nice to have more regular classes, perhaps between the Masses on Sunday or after the 11:00 Mass. There is a lot missing in practical living for adult Catholics, especially the young adults. (i.e. sin, what constitutes a sin, mortal (grave), venial, how often to go to confession, the sacraments [when and where to receive them], outdoor Mass, outdoor weddings, contraception, sterilization, and so on). Perhaps a regular course of study as with the kids' classes. Many Catholics don't get any more religious education after grade school especially if they attend a public high school. They are trying to practice their religion as an adult with a grade school religious education. I don't know what the answer is, but I know of many Catholic adults for which this is true.

Good question - themes have been added and the schedule has been updated.

Hello, I was wondering if there is an outline for your classes or do you post an discussion topic ahead of time?
